PRAYER : The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from in any manner interfering with or altering the nature of the petitioners property comprised in Survey No.441/1A1A3, St.Thomas Mount Village, pending disposal of the statutory and consequently directing the 1st respondent to disposed the petitioners appeal dated 14.7.2023 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the subject lands are in the possession of the Sports Department. The Government has evicted the encroachers and allotted the said land to the Sports Department for developing a mini stadium for the benefit of the public, and the construction works are in progress. Under these circumstances, the
