Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned

Special Government Pleader for the respondents No.1 to 3 and learned Government Advocate for the fourth respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The petitioners by the present writ petitions have assailed the

action of the respondents in not extending the benefits of advancement amount of the quarter increment and counting along with the pay for purpose of fixation of pension.

When the writ petitions are taken up for hearing today, learned

counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the lis involved in the present writ petitions is squarely covered by the decision of this Court dated 06.08.2024 in W.P.Nos.16386 of 2020 and batch, whereby, the Page No.6 of 9

therein.

In view of the above submission, for the reasons alike as stated in the order dated 06.08.2024 in W.P.Nos.16386 of 2020 and batch, since the issue involved in the present writ petitions is squarely covered by the decision of Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, wherein the claim of the similarly placed writ petitioner was negatived, in order to maintain parity, this Court is of the view that the petitioners in the present petitions are also not entitled for being granted the relief as sought for in the writ petitions.

Accordingly, the writ petitions fails and are dismissed in terms of the order dated 06.08.2024 in W.P.Nos.16386 of 2020 etc batch. No costs. Registry is directed to append a copy of the order dated 06.08.2024 in W.P.Nos.16386 of 2020 and etc. to this order.
