The present Writ Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to amend the cause title in respect of the second respondent in the above Writ Petition in W.P.(MD) No.4192 of 2026 and consequently, to modify the order dated 16.02.2026 passed in the said Writ Petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by mistake, "The Revenue Divisional Officer, Office of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Periyakulam Division, Theni District" has been impleaded as the second respondent instead of "The Revenue Divisional Officer, Office of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Vellore Division, Vellore District", within whose jurisdiction the petitioner met with the accident.

The learned counsel for the Government of Tamil Nadu,

appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no serious objection to amending the cause title by substituting the name of the second

Accordingly, this Writ Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed by

substituting the name and address of the authority, namely, "The Revenue Divisional Officer, Office of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Periyakulam Division, Theni District", with "The Revenue Divisional Officer, Office of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Vellore Division, Vellore District", in the place of the second respondent.

The Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendments in the cause title as well as in the order dated 16.02.2026 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.4192 of 2026 and issue a fresh copy of the order to the parties.
