academic year 2025 to 2026 in the first respondent College.

2.The admission in the first respondent College was originally withheld pointing out some defects in the first respondent College found during inspection. The said order was challenged by the first respondent and the Writ Court, pending writ petition, directed the second respondent to make inspection. During the inspection, it is found that except one defect, namely, permission to undergo training in the Primary Health Centre, all other defects pointed by the appellant has already been rectified. Further, on 13.01.2026 permission was also granted by the third respondent.

3.Therefore, the writ Court has rightly held that as on today, there is no legal impediment whatsoever for the first respondent Institution to admit students and accordingly, directed the respondents in the writ petition to approve the appointment of the students made in the writ petitioner /first respondent college for the academic year 2025-26.

4.Now the contention raised by the learned counsel for the appellant is that the admission in the first respondent College has been made on 31.01.2025, whereas the defects have been rectified only on 13.01.2026. Thereby, the rectification has been complied only after the admission has been made. Hence, the writ petition ought to have been dismissed.

5.Be that as it may, admittedly, the admission has taken place before the cut off date. However, the defects pointed out by the appellant herein has also been rectified, albeit with delay.

6.In such view of the matter, we are of the view that the admission has also been made now, mere technicalities will not take away the rights of the students. Accordingly, the impugned order does not require any interference.

7.Accordingly, this writ appeal stands dismissed. Consequently,

connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to
