This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 24 CPC seeking withdrawal of O.S. No.237 of 2020 pending on the file of the Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu, and transfer of the same to the competent Court at Salem.

The suit pending between the parties is a money suit. It is represented that both parties are residing within the jurisdiction of Mettur Taluk, Salem District and the witnesses are also residing at Mettur Taluk, Salem District.

Having regard to the convenience of parties and witnesses, this Court is of the view that the prayer for transfer deserves to be allowed.

Accordingly, TR.C.M.P. No.960 of 2025 is allowed and O.S. No.237 of

2020 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the competent District Court at Salem. The Principal District Court, Chengalpattu shall transmit the entire records to the District Court, Salem, within three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and the District Court, Salem shall dispose of the matter in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, uninfluenced by any observations made in this order. Consequently, C.M.P. No.21699 of 2025 is closed. No costs.
