The petitioner is the wife in the proceedings in HMOP No.314 of 2026.

The learned counsel for the respondent/husband, on instructions, states that the respondent has no serious objection for the transfer petition being allowed.

Independently, I have gone through the averments set out in the transfer petition and satisfied that the petitioner has good ground for transfer.

Accordingly, Tr.CMP No.557 of 2026 is allowed on the following directions:-

a) HMOP No.314 of 2026 is withdrawn from the file of Family Court, Thirupur and the same is transferred to the Principal Family Court, Chennai.

b) The Principal Family Court, Chennai, at its discretion shall take up HMOP No.314 of 2026 or assign it to any of the Additional Family Courts, subject to the pendency of cases and work load of Family Courts here at Chennai.

c) The Family Court, Thiruppur is directed to sent the entire records relating to HMOP No.314 of 2026 to the file of Principal Family Court, Chennai forthwith.

There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
