This transfer application has been filed by the petitioner-wife to withdraw

HMOP.No.265 of 2025 from the file of the Sub Court, Ranipet, and transfer to the file of the Family Court, Coimbatore.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Despite service of notice, the respondent has neither chosen to appear

in person nor through counsel. The name of the respondent is also printed in today’s cause list. Hence, the respondent is called and set ex-parte.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is

residing in Coimbatore and she is having custody of infant baby, which is not even one year old and the distance, which is required to be travelled is more than 350 kms as well. Hence, the petitioner has made out a good case seeking transfer. In the light of the above, I am inclined to allow the transfer application.

Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the proceedings in HMOP.No.265 of 2025 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the Sub Court, Ranipet, and transferred to the file of the Family Court,
