The father of Gayathri / detenu has instituted this Habeas Corpus Petition

seeking her production. According to the petitioner, his daughter was missing since 30.03.2026 and could not be found despite police complaint. Hence this petition.

2.When the matter is called today, Mr.Malarvannan, learned Government Counsel (Crl. Side) produces the detenu, whose date of birth is 08.03.1998. The parents of the detenu are also present before this Court. We have interacted with the detenu, who is categoric that she had voluntarily left her home to be with R4.

There is thus no merit in the apprehension of the petitioner that the

detenu may have been abducted or detained against her wishes. Bearing in mind the age of the detenu which is more than 28 years, and recording the above narration, we close this Habeas Corpus Petition.
