This civil revision petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif, Mudukulathur, to dispose of suit in O.S.No.10 of 2020 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2.The respondent herein filed a suit in O.S.No.10 of 2020 seeking cancellation of the settlement deed executed by the respondent in favour of the petitioner dated 08.04.2015. The said suit has been pending on the file of

the District Munsif Court, Muthukulathur, for the past six years, without any substantial progress. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3.A perusal of the E-Court status filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that the arguments in the suit was heard and it was posted for judgment as early as on 10.01.2025. Again, matter was reopened and pending for the past 1 and ½ years, without any substantial progress.

4.Taking into consideration that the suit was of the year 2020 and evidence was also recorded already, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to Trial Court. Accordingly, the learned District Munsif, Muthukulathur, is directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.10 of 2010 as expeditiously as possible.
