This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief.

The petitioner is the husband and the respondent is his wife. The

petitioner has filed H.M.O.P. No. 132 of 2017 on the file of the Sub Court, Mettur, seeking for dissolution of his marriage with the respondent.

The petitioner claims that H.M.O.P. No. 132 of 2017 is now posted for

respondent side evidence. According to the petitioner, several adjournments have already been given and the petitioner seeks for early disposal of the H.M.O.P. No. 132 of 2017.

No prejudice will be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the Sub Court, Mettur, to dispose of the H.M.O.P. No. 132 of 2017 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

After giving due consideration to the year of the H.M.O.P. and the present status of the H.M.O.P., this Court directs the Sub Court, Mettur, to dispose of the H.M.O.P. No. 132 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
