This civil revision petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for an early disposal of H.M.O.P. No. 5380 of 2024 pending on the file of I Additional Family Court, Chennai.

The petitioner is the wife and the respondent is her husband. The petitioner filed H.M.O.P. NO. 5380 of 2024 seeking for dissolution of marriage with the respondent. As seen from the civil revision petition, counter statement has already been filed by the respondent in H.M.O.P. No. 5380 of 2024 and proof affidavit has also been filed by the petitioner in support of H.M.O.P. No. 5380 of 2024. Since H.M.O.P. has not yet been disposed of, the petitioner seeks for an early disposal of the same.

No prejudice will be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the I Additional Family Court, Chennai, to dispose of H.M.O.P. No. 5380 of 2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondent in this civil revision petition, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the I Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of H.M.O.P. NO. 5380 of 2024 within a period of 5 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
