Before the trial Court, the petitioner filed I.A.No. 9 of 2025 seeking to restore HMOP No.4716 of 2019 along with a petition to condone the delay of 178 days. The application was allowed on condition that the petitioner/husband pays Rs.2,01,000/towards the balance of arrears till September 2025 to the respondent on or before 14.11.2025. Aggrieved by the same, the present revision has been filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner/husband already paid a sum of Rs.13,75,000/- (Rupees Thirteen Lakhs Seventy Five Thousand Only) as arrears of maintenance, but without considering the same, the trial court again directed the petitioner/husband to pay a sum of Rs.2,01,000/- and therefore, he prays to set aside the order passed by the court.
