PRAYER – This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 438 r/w Section 442 of BNSS, to set aside the judgment dated 30.07.2024 in C.A. NO.22 OF 2021 on the file of the learned District and Sessions Judge, Tirupathur, Tirupathur district by confirming the sentence and conviction imposed by the learned Additional District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Ambur, Tirupathur district in STC No.116 of 2017 dated 12.03.2021 convicting the petitioner to undergo 6 months S.I. and to pay Rs.3,00,000/- as compensation to the complainant U/S. 357(3) of Cr.P.C within 2 months from the date of judgment i/d to undergo 2 months S.I.

Mr.G.Vinodhkumar, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that

the case has been referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to

this Court on 08.07.2025. He submitted that the Mediation proceedings started

and as per the report of the Mediation and Conciliation Centre dated 16.02.2026, mediation has been completed and the parties have entered into a settlement vide settlement agreement dated 16.02.2026, which is also enclosed along with the Mediation report.

2.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusal of the report of the Mediator dated 16.02.2026 as well as the settlement agreement dated 16.02.2026, this Criminal Revision Case is disposed of with a direction to the parties that they shall abide by the conditions laid down in the settlement agreement dated 16.02.2026. The settlement agreement dated 16.02.2026 shall also form part of the order.
