The present application has been filed by A1 and A2 in Crime No.50 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction to the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Special Court for trail of SC/ST(POA) Act cases, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider their bail application on the same day.

Considering the averments in the petition, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed and a direction is issued as prayed for. The learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Special Court for trail of SC/ST(POA) Act cases, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur, is directed to consider the application on the same day after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.
