The present petition has been filed by A1 in Crime No.171 of 2026, on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction as against the trial Court to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of surrender.

Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the learned District and Sessions Judge, (Special Court for PCR Cases), Pudukkottai, to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of surrender in Crime No.171 of 2026, after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.
