This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in Crime No.25 of 2015 pending on the file of EDF-II, Central Crime Branch, Tambaram, Chennai, for the offences under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1 st respondent submitted that the investigation has been completed and further action has been dropped and final report has also been filed before the Court on 10.02.2026.
