This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in connection with charge sheet in PRC.No.34 of 2023 on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tambaram pending disposal of the quash petition.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 1^st respondent and perused the documents placed on record.

When the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that now, the case has been committed before the trial court and the same has been taken cognizance in Spl.S.C.No.180 of 2025 before the Mahila Court, Chengalpet and the prosecution had also examined witnesses, thereby pleaded to dismiss the petition.

Considering the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), that the case has been committed and taking note of the fact that after commencement of trial, quash petition cannot be entertained to quash the entire proceedings, therefore, the present Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, personal appearance of the petitioner is dispensed with

and he shall be represented by a counsel after filing appropriate application. The petitioner shall be present before the Court below at the time of furnishing of copies, framing charges, questioning under Section 313 Cr.P.C., and at the time of passing judgment. Further, the trial court is directed to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
