The prayer in this Criminal Original Petition is to quash the first information report in Cr. No.15 of 2024, on the file of the first respondent.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the investigation is already complete and that a final report has also been filed on 25.07.2026, on the file of the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai in e-filing No.LTN20230001562C202400029, and that it is yet to be taken on file.

In view thereof, keeping it open for the petitioner to take all pleas during the trial or against the final report filed as the case may be, if he chooses to, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
