The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused alleged to have involved in illegal transportation of banned tobacco products.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner had illegal possession of 26 hans white plastic bags, which is worth about Rs.6,00,000/-. He further submitted that this is also a case in which the petitioner dashed against the Government vehicle, while the Government Officials were chasing him to secure and to seize the banned tobacco products. He further submitted that there is one previous case of similar in nature as against the petitioner and hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
