COMMON ORDER

These Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed by the petitioner seeking to modify the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.12239 of 2026 dated 25.06.2026 that “the petitioner shall report before the respondent police, on every Saturday at 4.00 p.m., for a period of four weeks” and also for further extension of time for compliance of the conditions.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail in another case in Crime No.205 of 2026 in Crl.O.P.No.17241 of 2026, by order dated 08.07.2026, with a condition to report before the respondent therein, i.e., the Inspector of Police, D-1 Police Station, Triplicane, Chennai, daily twice at 10.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m, until further orders. Hence, he could not comply with the condition in the present case in Crime No.260 of 2023, to report before the respondent Police, i.e., the Inspector of Police, Thanthonimalai Police Station, Karur District, on every Saturday at 4.00 p.m., for a period of four weeks. Therefore, the learned counsel seeks to modify the said condition.

Considering the said submission and the fact that the petitioner was directed to appear before the Inspector of Police, D-1 Police Station, Triplicane, Chennai in another case daily twice, the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.12239 of 2026 dated 25.06.2026, is modified to the effect that

Station, Triplicane, Chennai, daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. Consequently, two weeks' time is extended to the petitioner to comply with the conditions imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.12239 of 2026 dated 25.06.2026, from the date on which, the order copy is made ready.
