Vide order dated 30.03.2026 made in Crl.A.No.298 of 2026, this

Court had set aside the dismissal order dated 04.03.2026 made in Crl.M.P.No.521 of 2026 by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Tirupattur and enlarged the petitioner/appellant on bail on certain conditions. Since the offences for which the FIR in Crime No.9 of 2026 was registered against the petitioner were wrongly mentioned as ‘Section 420 of IPC and Section 3(1)(r) of the Scheduled Castes & the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act” instead of “Section 420 of IPC, Section 3(1)(r) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and Section 69 of BNS” in the memorandum of appeal, the same got reflected in the order dated 30.03.2026 also. Hence, on the ground that the offences for which the FIR was registered was wrongly shown in the memorandum of appeal, which led to wrong mentioning of the same in the order dated 30.03.2026 and the same needs to be amended, since, the petitioner is not able to comply with the conditions imposed by this Court, this criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed.

Satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit accompanying

this petition, this miscellaneous petition stands ordered.

Registry is directed to substitute the wrong offences found in the order dated 30.03.2026 with the aforesaid correct offences, viz., Section 420 of IPC, Section 3(1)(r) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and Section 69 of BNS and issue fresh order copies to the learned counsel for the parties. All the other conditions in the order dated 30.03.2026 shall remain unaltered.
