2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that while pending the appeal, the appellant/second accused died on 01.10.2024 and he also produced the proceedings of the Superintendent of Prisons, Central Prison, Madurai, in No.R1/2896/2024, dated 11.11.2024 to that effect. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Appeal.
