Verification List for the Direct Recruitment for the post of Block Education Officer in Elementary Education Department for the year 2018 - 2019 dated 10.01.2022 and consequential Revised Certificate verification List for the Direct Recruitment for the post of Block Education Officer in Elementary Education Department for the year 2018 - 2019 dated 04.02.2022 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to follow the previous practice of allotting waitage marks and the procedures stated in TRB Notification of the year 2003-2004 and G.O.Ms.No.71, dated 30.05.2014 and as observed in W.P.No.24143 of 2014 dated 19.01.2021 viz., the age of the candidates i.e., D.O.B (Age Seniority), The Registration of Employment Exchange of seniority, the benefit of the 1 st graduate, the benefit of working experience and the benefit of additional qualification, in the present impugned Notification of direct recruitment for the 97 posts of Block Education Officer in Elementary Education Department for the year 2018-2019 Notification No.13/2019 dated 27.11.2019 and to abolish system of following normalizations of marks formula in the above Notification and allot available one post to the petitioner by providing necessary marks under the BCM Category by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2022, within the period as stipulated by this Court.

On a prima facie view, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has now

become infructuous.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent submits that the writ petition has become infructuous. On the said submission, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on the last hearing date i.e., 17.09.2025, sought further time to get instructions. Only on the request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned for hearing today. Once again, an adjournment has been sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The learned Standing Counsel further submits that the Recruitment Notification which is the subject matter of challenge, pertains to the year 2018-2019. The selection process has been completed and appointment orders have already been issued in favour of the successful candidates. He further submits that subsequent to the said Notification, which is the subject matter in this writ petition, another Notification was also issued in the year 2022-2023, and in terms of the said Notification, the vacancies were filled up and appointment orders were also issued. Therefore, it is made clear that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has now become infructuous and further, at this belated stage, this Court cannot entertain this writ petition.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
