It is admitted by the respondents that through the petition

mentioned survey numbers, the water channel runs. It is further undertaken that the character of the water channel will be restored. In other words, the original width as well as the height of the water channel as well as the bund will be restored.

The petitioner's counsel states that the local body laid a gravel road

on a portion of the water channel. The respondents undertake to remove the same at the earliest. The wrongly laid road will be removed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
