After filing an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, by this petition, the petitioner seeks the expeditious disposal thereof.

2.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. By referring to order dated 01.08.2025 in W.P(MD)No.20420 of 2025, he points out that the District Revenue Officer was directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's revision petition dated 19.05.2025 within 12 weeks. While such revision petition is pending, learned Special Government Pleader submits that the petitioner has initiated another round of litigation. In response, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that further patta transfer was effected on the basis of a settlement deed while the revision was pending before the District Revenue Officer.

3.Proceeding on the basis that a further patta mutation was carried out, the appropriate remedy would be for the petitioner to join the current pattadhar in the pending revision petition and prosecute such petition on that basis.

4.With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of. It is needless
