The grievance of the Petitioner is that his request for patta by communication, dated 12.8.2025 was not responded to.

2.The learned counsel for the Petitioner relies on a sale deed, dated 23.6.2021 in his favour and a settlement deed, dated 1.10.2024 in favour of his predecessor in interest. The learned counsel admits that patta in the name of earlier owner is unavailable.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. He submits that the first respondent may be directed to consider and dispose of the representation, on merits.

4.In these circumstances, without examining the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 12.8.2025 and dispose of the same within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing reasonable opportunity to the Petitioner, any other person interested in the relevant property.

5.With the above said direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
