ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.)
Read this order in conjunction with and in continuation of
order dated 03.09.2025, that reads as follows:
'Read this order in conjunction with and in continuation of previous orders, particularly order dated 02.09.2025, under which a report of the Commissioner was sought for.
2.A report has been placed before us along with a colour-coded map, which shows that despite the survey number in question being demarcated as ' rhiy ', there are nine encroachments. The State concedes that encroachments bearing Nos.1, 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9 will have to be removed. The Commissioner/Corporation shall issue necessary notices forthwith and do the needful by removing the encroachments within the stipulated time.
3.Mr.Vinayak, learned counsel, anticipates a law and order problem and requests police protection. Hence, the Inspector of Police, Keerathurai Police Station, Madurai City is impleaded suo motu as R6, who will do the needful to ensure compliance with this order.
4.As far as item 5 is concerned, it is a ' rKjhaf;$lk; '. Mr.S.Vinayak, learned counsel, who appears for the Corporation, confirms that the property is being used for the benefit of all the residents in that area. According to him, it has been constructed in 1963.
5.Hence, though an encroachment by the State upon its own property as the revenue classification of the land is a 'road', prima facie we are not inclined to disturb this property. As far as items 6 and 7 are concerned, he states that they are temples constructed by the residents. For the moment, they too shall remain.

6.Since Mr.Nirjan S.Kumar, learned counsel appearing for petitioner, seeks a short accommodation to peruse the report which he has just received and obtain instructions, particularly in regard to the vintage of the Community Hall, the matter is adjourned to 22.09.2025.'

states that notice has been issued pursuant to the aforesaid order and that the demolition of the encroachment is fixed on 25.09.2025. A copy of the notice is given to us.
3.Recording the same and as this achieves the purpose of the Writ Petition, the same is closed.
