“5. As per sub-rule (4) of rule 11 of Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978 and provisions thereunder, the half of the service rendered by all the employees under State Government in a job involving whole time employment in non-provincialised service, consolidated pay, honorarium on daily wages basis paid on monthly basis on or after 01.01.1961 and subsequently absorbed in regular service before 01.04.2003 without a break shall be counted for retirement benefits along with regular service. The regularization of services ordered in the Government Ordre first read above shall be applicable only to the temporary employees absorbed in Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service as Junior Assistant / Typist / Steno Typist in the regular time scale of pay. As such, the request to count the temporary services on consolidated pay rendered by the individuals in Tamil Nadu Survey Department as full service has no merit. The Government have, therefore decided to reject the representations of Thiru. T.Govindaraj, Superintendent (Retired), District Police office, Sivagangai, Thiru. P.Prameswaramoorthy, Superintendent, District Police Office, Ramanathapuram and Thiru. C.Rajendran, Typist (Retired), City Police Office, Madurai City, Accordingly, the Government order that the representations of Thiru. T.Govindaraj, Superintendent (Retired), District Police Office, Sivagangai, Thiru P.Parameswaramoorthy, Superintendent, District Police Office, Ramanathapuram and Thiru C.Rajendran, Typist (Retired), City Police Office, Madurai City requesting to count their 100% temporary services rendered by them in Survey Department under consolidated pay for pensionary benefits be rejected as devoid of merits.”
