Since it has been established by the respondent University before this Court that they have stopped deducting the commutation amount from November 2015 onwards, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has been achieved.

3. After recording the statement made by the respondents that the respondent University has stopped deducting the commutation amount from November 2015 onwards and they have not recovered any excess amount from the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
