This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to not fill up sand on the petitioner's property situated at Trichy District, K.Sathanur SubRegistrar Office, Srirangam Taluk, Panjappur village, S.F.No.141, admeasuring Acre 0.87 1/2 cents, without initiating appropriate land acquisition proceedings, in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2023.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation on 05.07.2023 requesting to not fill up sand on his property, without initiating appropriate land acquisition proceedings. However, the same is yet to be considered. Hence, the Writ Petition.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.07.2023 and dispose of the same, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
