This writ petition has been filed seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 6 to take action against the seventh respondent under the provision of Thanjavur Municipal Corporation Act 2013 for violation of public health and consequently to forbear the seventh respondent from discharging waste, effluents, sewage, and other waste in the petitioner's premises and land in T.S.No.63/1, 63/2, 64, 57/2 and 57/3 in an extent of 1 acre and 16 cents at Abraham Pandithar Road, Ward No.5, Block No.7, Thanjavur Down and District.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Pollution Control Board, on instructions, would submit that there is no discharge of sewage water into the petitioner's property.

Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
