The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the property situated in S.No.217/1B2 with an extent of 0.06.50

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for R1 & R2 and Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for R3.

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

According to the petitioner, the subject property belongs to him and the patta for the property also stands in the name of the petitioner in Patta.No.8154. The petitioner submitted an online application on 04.01.2025 in A.No.2025/0123/27/004171 and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the 1^st respondent received an objection from the neighboring land owner and further submitted that the subject property is full of vegetation and therefore, the official respondents find it difficult to survey the subject property .

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 1^st respondent is directed to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 04.01.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, objectors, and other interested parties if any.

It is also made clear that the petitioner shall clear the unnecessary

vegetation in the subject property to facilitate smooth survey of the property by the official respondents.
