The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey the land comprised in TSLR No.4/4A, 5/16 and 5/2 located at Ward No.25, Kochadai, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai Corporation and issue report based on the online application, dated 18.3.2025 submitted by the Petitioner.

2.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, he got right over the above mentioned property under a partition deed, dated23.5.1992.The Town Survey Register for the said property stands in the name of the Petitioner. He filed an application seeking survey of the above said land on 18.03.2025 in Application No. 2025/0178/24/000147.The said application has not been considered till date. Hence the Petitioner has come before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

online application submitted by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the same, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the online application of the Petitioner, in Application No. 2025/0178/24/000147, dated 18.3.2025 and pass orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
