ORDER
The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to issue a passport to him. The petitioner is a software engineer working with a multinational company. During the course of his work, he is called upon to travel abroad. Hence he applied for issuance of a passport to the third respondent. The third respondent sought for a clarification from the fourth respondent. The clarification was as regards a criminal case that has been filed against him in Crime No.366 of 2024 by the fifth respondent. The petitioner states that the final report was filed and the same has been taken on file before the Judicial Magistrate-I, Thiruvannamalai as C.C.No.953 of 2025. He pleads that the case is still at the stage of trial. On account of the pressing necessities of work, he requires the passport and hence has filed this writ petition.
