ORDER
The writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the first to third respondents to take necessary and immediate action on the petitioner’s representation dated 19.11.2025 and to pass such further or other orders.
hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the grievance of the petitioner is that the temple in question was traditionally worshipped by the petitioner and his ancestral family members. While so, some persons residing nearby the temple are arrogating powers to themselves and are preventing the petitioner. As a matter of fact, the petitioner had also given his contribution towards the renovation and Kumbabishekam of the temple. The petitioner and
others cannot be left out altogether.

W.P.No.48751 of 2025 3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official
respondents would submit that the temple is traditionally worshipped by 700 families, all belonging to the socially downtrodden strata. They are represented by twelve Kaaniyachis and Poojaris . The further representation made on the basis of caste is rejected by the Court and will not be taken into consideration. Everyone is a devotee of the temple irrespective of caste or sub-sect. It is further stated that the fourth respondent is also a devotee and along with the fourth respondent, several other devotees are taking care of the temple and the Kumbabishekam is now scheduled.
