This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of

mandamus directing respondents to act upon the representations made by the petitioners seeking issuance of computer patta with respect to the subject property.

The case of the petitioners is that the subject property was originally purchased by their mother through a registered sale deed dated 23.10.1971 registered as document No.1345/1971. Thereafter, land assignment order was also passed in favour of the petitioners' mother on 18.05.1974. The petitioners had made several representations seeking issuance of computerised patta in the name of petitioners. Since the same were not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to petitioners to make a fresh online application to third respondent along with all relevant documents and necessary particulars and on receipt of the same, the third respondent shall deal with the application on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of fresh online application from the petitioners and convey the decision to the petitioners.
