ORDER
The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents herein to identify and earmark the patta lands in Survey No.16/1 measuring an extent of 00.89.00 hectares and Survey No.22/1,

measuring an extent of 02.09.00 hectares, situated at Sunnalampatti Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, issued to the petitioners vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1240/1997, dated 29.01.1998 by the second respondent by surveying the said patta house sites in order to enable the petitioners to construct house pursuant to their representation dated 16.12.2024.
2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader takes
notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.
3. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are the beneficiaries of assignment patta issued by the second respondent dated 29.01.1998. The lands in Survey No.16/1 measuring an extent of 00.89.00 hectares and Survey No.22/1, measuring an extent of 02.09.00 hectares, situated at Sunnalampatti Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District was acquired for the aforesaid purpose. patta was issued, the land was not properly identified and earmarked by surveying the said patta land and to allot the same to the beneficiaries. Therefore, the petitioners made a representation dated 16.12.2024 to the respondents, to identify and earmark the patta lands. However, the same was not considered, as on date. Hence, the petitioners have come forward with the present writ petition.
4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 16.12.2024 to identify and earmark the aforesaid land.
5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioners' representation dated 16.12.2024 would be considered and appropriate orders passed within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
7. Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel
for the petitioners, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 16.12.2024 to identify and earmark the aforesaid lands, after giving due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners as well as aggrieved persons, if any, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
