This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the

1^st respondent to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner on

23.10.2024, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.P.Srinivas, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.B.Vijay, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The case of the petitioner is that the subject property absolutely belonged to one Balasundaram by virtue of a registered Sale Deed dated 30.10.1995. Patta was also issued to him under the Enam Abolition Act. Subsequently, the subject property in S.No.166/1A was sold in favour of the petitioner through a registered Sale Deed dated 13.02.2004. Patta was also transferred in the name of the petitioner.

4.The layout was formed and it was also approved by the concerned authority in the year 2009. The petitioner came to know that the subject property along with S.No.187/4 and 178/1 have been set out in the Registration Department records as zero value in order to prevent any registration of documents. The petitioner therefore made a representation to the 1^st and 2^nd respondents dated 23.10.2024 to delete the entry and to fix the guideline value with respect to the property in S.No.166/1A. The petitioner was informed that objections were made by the 3^rd respondent on the ground that the property vested with the Waqf. According to the petitioner, the subject property has been wrongly set out as a Waqf property. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking for a direction to the 1^st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 23.10.2024.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 1^st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 23.10.2024, on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the 3^rd respondent and necessary

order shall be passed, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
