By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner is registered with Tamil Nadu Transgender Welfare

Board, which is a State Government initiate under the Tamil Nadu Government Social Welfare and Women's rights department. The petitioner intended to open a small night food stall near R.S.R.M.Hospital, Cemetery Road, for the benefit of the general public who visited the hospital. To avail permission from the Corporation, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondent's on 21.04.2025, however, no action was taken till date.

Aggrieved by the inaction of respondents, the petitioner filed the above writ petition.

Though many issues were raised in the writ petition, learned counsel

for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if, this Court directs the Page No.3 of 6

In view of the above facts and considering the limited relief sought

for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, I am inclined to direct the second respondent, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025, and pass appropriate orders on

merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
