O R D E R

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to 1^st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2024 seeking separate domestic electricity service connection for her house.

It is the casse of the petitioner that present electricity service connection for the petitioner's house has been classified as commercial one from 25.10.2016. Therefore, the petitioner submitted instant representation dated 18.12.2024 seeking separate domestic electricity service connection for the residential house and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel (TNEB), who takes notice for the respondents submitted that if the petitioner wants separate domestic service connection, it is for her to submit proper application through online. The learned Standing Counsel (TNEB) further submits that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits and orders will be communicated to the petitioner.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the 1^st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.12.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner.

With this direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
