This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of

mandamus directing the respondents, particularly, the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioners on 09.05.2025 wherein the petitioners are seeking for extension of their fishing rights at Alapuram Village for a further period of five years from July'2025.

case and without going into the merits of the case and taking note of the fact that the fishing rights of the petitioner is going to end in July'2025, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the representation of the petitioners dated 09.05.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
