This writ petition has been filed for direction to respondents 4 and 5 to initiate appropriate action as per the communication dated 13.02.2025 of the third respondent on the petitioner’s representation.

The property comprised in survey No.440/3 situated at E.Nallakavundampalayam Village, Paramathi Veloor Taluk, namakkal District was classified as ‘natham’. Later it was classified as ‘vandipathai’ (cart track). The petitioner’s agricultural land is situated in survey No.440/1B and the petitioner’s father was issued patta. The southern boundary of the said land lies with land classified as government poraboke to an extent of one and half acres. However, the petitioner is in 2/4

W.P.No.21123 of 2025 position and enjoyment of the same. The said land is now classified as vandipathai poramboke. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representation to re-classify the said land and to issue patta.

Admittedly the subject land is now classified as ‘vandipathai’ (cart track) and as such the representation submitted by the petitioner for re-clasification of the land into nanja land cannot be considered. As such, this writ petition is devoid of merits and the same is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be

no order as to costs.
