ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction for the payment of additional

security deposit of Rs. 4,10,76,453/- in ten equal instalments along with the

regular current consumption charges.

Learned counsel for the petitioner refers to and relies upon earlier order

¶27

dated 28.05.2025 in this connection.

Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for the

respondents.

The petitioner has placed on record the earlier order dated 28.05.2025

¶33

permitting the payment of additional security deposit in six equal monthly

¶34

installments. Likewise, in this case, the petitioner is permitted to pay the additional security deposit of Rs. 4,10,76,453/- in eight equal monthly installments. The first installment shall be paid on or before 15.06.2025 and the subsequent installments shall be paid on or before the first of each succeeding month over the next seven months. In the event of default, the petitioner shall

lose the benefit of this order and the respondents are at liberty to initiate appropriate legal proceedings in respect thereof.

This Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
