This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the third respondent's proceedings in Mu.Mu.No.36767/2022/C3 dated 05.04.2023 and direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct the ERUDHUVIDUM THIRUVIZHA (manjuvirattu), during Mariamman Koil festival in Pattaguruparapalli Village, Sembarasanapalli Post, Sulagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri on any subsequent dates.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that

the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous and seeks

liberty to file a fresh representation before the respondent Police.

Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ

Petition. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh representation
