By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to 6 th respondent is dispensed with.

Chitta No.2124, 2120, 2123 for Survey Nos.473, 278, 476 at Pichanur Village, Madukkarai Taluk, Coimbatore and reinstate the records as it was prior to mutation and initiate appropriate action in accordance with law for fraudulent modification of the records.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of Writ Petition vide order dated 04.06.2025, the Revenue Divisional Officer had directed the Tahsildar to remove the name of 6 th respondent within a period of 30 days. It is submitted that in view of the above order, petitioner grievance stands redressed. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that there has been gross dereliction of duty by the Tahsildar and would thus seek leave of this Court to take appropriate action with regard to the same. It is further submitted that a complaint has also been lodged before the Inspector General of Police, Coimbatore. However, Inspector General of Police, Coimbatore is not a party to the present proceedings and hence, liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority in accordance with law.

4.Recording the same, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with liberty as prayed for. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
