The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the respondents to revise the petitioner's salary on par with GH Medical College ICTC Counsellors with effect from April 2021, with all increments and consequential benefits and Direct the respondents to pay all consequential arrears with 12% interest per annum from the date of entitlement till realization.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed as ICTC Counsellor. The learned counsel would further submit that there is a disparity between the persons appointed on contractual basis with that of the employees of the Government Hospital. In this connection, the petitioner has sent a representation on 22.07.2024 and such representation is yet to be considered by the respondents.

At this juncture, the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the

respondents would fairly submit that they would consider the petitioner’s representation according to its own merits and according with law, within a reasonable time.

I have given my anxious consideration on either side submission.

In such view of the fair submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, without going in to the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioners above representation dated 22.07.2024 and pass order on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
