The grievances of the appellant are that the information sought for by

the petitioner in person under the Right to Information Act, 2005 has not

been provided. The writ Court disposed of the writ petition by stating that the petitioner has not been precluded from seeking information relating to

Query No.5 by way of fresh application. Not satisfied with the writ order, the present writ appeal has been instituted.

We heard the appellant in person.

¶38

This Court has considered the issues and found that the appellant in

person has made a request to provide the procedures being followed for the purpose of change of door numbers.

In this regard, the learned counsel for the respondents furnished the copy of the Government Order issued in G.O.Ms.No.232 Municipal Administration, Water Supply Department dated 29.10.1999.

The said Government Order provides guidelines. Based on the said

Government Order, if any other documents are required, the appellant in person is at liberty to file a fresh RTA application, for the purpose of any further information if it is required for her. At the outset, based on the guidelines issued in the Government Order, the appellant shall approach the Public Information Officer concerned, seeking further information. In respect of Query No.5, for which, no information has been provided by the respondents, the Public Information Officer in the office of the District

Collector shall provide information to the Query No.5 of the RTI application submitted by the appellant. In respect of four other questions already informations are provided to the appellant. The said query, the respondents are directed to provide information to the appellant within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ appeal stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also stands dismissed.
