This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025.

This case is registered for alleged offences under Section 506(1) and

504 of IPC, 1860. The allegation is that the accused had made facebook

message against the District Collector with reference to E-pass Scheme implemented by the Collector. Upon reading the message, it is seen that it is a bonafide protest, however, in an inappropriate language. For the said allegation the case is pending from the year 2020 at summons stage.
