It is his case that the entire complaint is only based on allegations

not supported by proof. The petitioner is a senior citizen and is also suffering from poor health. No allegations of domestic violence have been against him. Therefore, he seeks to have the complaint withdrawn.

A perusal of the domestic violence complaint that has been filed by the 1^st respondent would also indicate that there are no specific allegations made against the petitioner. The statement that has been made in Coloumn9 of Form-III is as follows:

Further, the 1^st respondent has left the matrimonial home on 20.05.2022. During the panchayat that had taken place, mediation efforts were taken amongst the elders. The request made was only for return of the jewels and

no allegations of domestic violence had been made by the petitioner. It is after the 2^nd respondent had filed a petition for divorce that the domestic violence complaint has been made. The same is only an attempt to armtwist the 2^nd respondent into settling a huge compensation on the petitioner.

Considering the fact that there is no specific allegations of domestic violence made against the petitioner and only vague allegations have been made, the civil revision petition is allowed and the domestic violence case is
