considering the quantity involved in this case and also taking note of the fact that the petitioner was absconding in this case for quite some time and also taking note of the fact that the case is now at the stage of examination of investigation officer, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in this case.
5.In view of the above, this criminal original petition is dismissed and there shall be a direction to the learned Presiding Officer, Special Court for EC and NDPS Act cases, Thanjavur to dispose of the case in C.C.No.166 of 2023 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
